MetricBridge.ioConnecting ecommerce events from browser GTM to server-side destinations
A structured dual-path measurement design for GA4, Google Ads, Meta CAPI, TikTok Events API and Klaviyo through a Stape-managed first-party server endpoint.
The challenge
An ecommerce measurement stack needed consistent event names, consent-aware event transport, browser/server identity matching, and click-ID continuity across analytics and advertising platforms.
Implementation
Structured GA4 ecommerce signals for product discovery, cart, checkout and purchase events. Routed native GA4 requests and Data Tag payloads to separate GA4 and Data clients in the first-party server container. Used a common event_id across browser pixels and corresponding Meta / TikTok server events to support deduplication. Added consent-aware controls and Google Ads click-ID reconstruction transformations when first-party click data was present.
Verification
Web GTM export and Tag Assistant supported browser event configuration and firing for core funnel steps. Server export documented GA4, Ads, Meta, TikTok and Klaviyo destination-tag logic. A QA screenshot surfaced Data Tag transport failures; complete end-to-end server delivery is therefore not presented as verified.
Technical outcomes
Documented first-party browser-to-server architecture. Shared identifiers designed for browser/server deduplication. Attribution-ready Google Ads click-data transformation path.
Scope and evidence limits
The supplied evidence does not establish a revenue, ROAS, tracking-recovery or attribution lift. Full server transport sign-off requires successful server-preview and destination logs.
